Abstract

The evolution of the digital era and the challenges of modern education require students to be not only academically excellent but also emotionally and digitally intelligent. In reality, challenges persist regarding low literacy and numeracy skills, a lack of wisdom in social media usage, and the prevalence of bullying within school environments. This Community Service (PkM) initiative aims to optimize students' academic potential and foster positive character traits through the GEMA (Generasi Maju/Advanced Generation) Program. The program partners with students from SMK Prajnaparamita Malang. Implementation involves three integrated stages: (1) interactive outreach and education on the importance of literacy and numeracy in daily life; (2) a digital literacy workshop focusing on ethics and the wise use of social media; and (3) an anti-bullying campaign designed to create a safe, child-friendly school environment. Results indicate that the program enhanced students' understanding of literacy and numeracy concepts, fostered an awareness of the need to critically evaluate information on social media, and cultivated a collective commitment to ending all forms of bullying at school. Through the GEMA Program, the goal is to shape a young generation that is intellectually intelligent, courteous in the digital realm, and deeply empathetic in the real world.
