Abstract

This study describes the implementation and results of a competency-based community service program (PMBP) at Ronda Dikira Catholic Elementary School, focusing on grade 1. Through this program, the main objectives are to improve children's cognitive abilities through tutoring, introducing the importance of gymnastics for physical and mental health, and providing counseling on good handwashing habits. Through a combined method, this program successfully improved academic grades, learning interest, and understanding of hygiene in children. The results showed a significant increase in children's abilities in certain subjects, active participation in gymnastics, and a better understanding of the importance of handwashing. The implications of this program highlight the importance of the active role of students in developing school communities and forming healthy living habits from an early age. In conclusion, this program provides concrete benefits for children, schools, and students, with the hope that it will have a sustainable positive impact on education and the health of the local community.
